1. Create and confirm your voter account
Select Vote on any nominee, then sign in. You can create an account with a password of at least 12 characters (your browser can suggest one), or skip the password and sign in with a one-tap email link or 6-digit code.
We send a confirmation link to your email. Open it on any device to confirm your account; you will return to the nominee you chose. Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive within a few minutes.
2. Choose one nominee in each category
There are 12 award categories. You can vote once in every category, so you can support up to 12 nominees in total.
Some people and organisations are nominated in more than one category. A vote in one category does not affect any other category.
3. Enter your details, review and confirm
Enter your full name and phone number, check your choice and confirm. A receipt number appears only after your vote has been saved.
Votes cannot be changed or withdrawn after they are confirmed.
Fair voting rules
Each confirmed account can vote once per category, and each phone number can be used once per category.
Only use your own account and your own phone number. Do not create extra accounts or use other people’s numbers. Automated or bulk voting is not permitted, and repeated attempts from one network are temporarily limited.
Phone numbers are not verified by SMS, so these limits reduce repeat voting but cannot guarantee one vote per person. The organisers may review suspicious activity.
Voting period and results
The banner at the top of every page shows whether voting is currently open.
Vote totals are not shown publicly while voting is in progress. Results are announced by the organisers.
